We learn how to code using two different but very similar coding environments, Scratch and Makecode. They are both web-based, visual, and free.
Scratch lets you create and share programs that run on the computer inside web browsers.
Makecode lets you create programs that run on the Circuit Playground Express from Adafruit. The CPE is a microcontroller, a very small computer that you can hold in your palm. It has lights, sound, and lots of sensors so you can experiment with physical computing.
